Following the success of Shiny Colors' first concert, Mano Sakuragi and her friends continue to face new challenges. After Straylight, a new unit of 283 Production, makes its debut concert, the members of the units are temporarily shuffled into new groups to prepare for a Halloween event to help them grow individually as idols. While Mano struggles to express her ideas, her fellow unit member Hiori Kazano feels left out by her new comrades' talent. At the same time, Fuyuko Mayuzumi, who has bitterly failed to become Straylight's center, proves completely unable to show her real personality, jeopardizing the entire project in the process. Shiny Colors' producer will have to find a way for Fuyuko to break out of her shell if he wants to see his idol units illuminate the world once more.

This series tells the story of 9 year-old Katri, a girl who lives on a farm in Finland with her grandparents. Katri's mother has been away in Germany for three years. The farm is not doing well, so to help support her family, she goes to work on a neighboring farm. Katri faces many struggles and challenges.

In a future to come humanity enjoys a new age of prosperity thanks to Dr. Shizuma's invention of a revolutionary renewable energy source: the Shizuma Drive. The coming battle will test Daisaku's resolve to the utmost, reveal the ghastly truth behind the creation of the Shizuma Drive, and bring human civilization to its knees! Giant Robo is a character-driven adventure in a retro-futuristic setting, drawing on influences from opera, kung-fu cinema, wuxia stories and classic mecha anime. It incorporates characters from the works of the manga author Mitsuteru Yokoyama but it is designed to be a stand-alone story.
